I grew up and spent over 40 years living in the Lake Minnetonka area before deciding to seek the dream of living ‘Up North.’ Since 1997, my wife, Bonnie, and I have been residents on Girl Lake in the City of Longville. We have four children; one daughter, three sons, and five grandchildren. Our daughter and her family live in Austin, Texas, our oldest son lives and works in Paris, France, and our other two sons and their families reside in the Twin Cities area.
My first career, spanning 29 years, was in the insurance business. I was active as an owner and partner of David Agency, Inc., an independent insurance agency in downtown Minneapolis.
My second career began in 1987 when I made the decision to become a Realtor. This gave me the opportunity to continue to serve people and I enjoyed dealing with the tangible world of real estate rather than the intangible products of insurance.
As a Realtor, I am proud to be a member of the following professional organizations:
National Association of Realtors (NAR)
Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR)
Greater Lakes Association of Realtors (GLAR)
Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI)
Some of my former associations are:
Service in the U.S. Coast Guard, 1952 to 1960
26 year member and past president of the Rotary Club of Mound, MN
Hennepin County Sheriff’s Emergency Squad Special Deputy for 15 years.
I currently enjoy serving in the following area organizations:
Director, Child, Girl, Woman Lake Property Owners Association.
Volunteer with the Cass County Sheriff’s Water Patrol.
Director, Longville Lakes Area Snowmobile Club.
Volunteer driver for Cass County Dept. of Health, Human, and Veterans Services.
Past planning commission member and current council member for the City of Longville.
In addition to the above mentioned interests, I still find time to enjoy hunting, boating and snowmobiling.
I feel confident that I have gained the knowledge and experience to assist buyers and sellers in achieving their real estate goals. I subscribe to the Rotary International motto of “Service above Self” and I welcome your call to be of service at the Gallery of Homes.
